We had a spacious room connected to the house. The fan was more than enough to keep you cool. The outdoor living space was fantastic. You still felt quite private and it overlooked the beautiful gardens of the massive block of land were you can watch all the different birds fly through. The blue healers were gorgeous and friendly. The owners are very helpful with fantastic recommendations. Make sure you have dinner here. Its the best you'll get in costa rica. A perfect place to come back to after exploring all the nearby activities. Small village nearby if you need any supplies.

Set in Estrada, just 4 km away from Playa Carrillo, Casa Hidalgo cerca de playa Carrillo provides accommodation with Wi-Fi, a seating area, a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette. The place was ok. The location is fine, not at the beach but relatively close. 4km to Carrillo beach. Hard to find a cheaper place closer to the beach

Friendly hosts, nice and comfortable space with good ventilation, a terrace and a lovely garden. The space was clean and the hosts were very accommodating and helpful with cleaning and storing our work gear. The place it about 2 blocks away from the seaside and 3 blocks from the center. Quiet area and easy to walk everywhere, lots of options to eat out and get groceries. The cabin had a good kitchen and a large fridge, stove, microwave and coffee maker. Great value and all we needed for our work trip. We already booked our next stay at Villa Silvestre.
