But the best bit was the friendliness and helpfulness of the hosts. We were 3 tired cyclists when we arrived but 3 very happy ones when we left!

An absolutely beautiful property, we arrived fairly late and didn’t feel like dinner but we regret that now, the menu looked terrific when we saw it the next morning! Room was very comfortable, quirky but tasteful, and entirely in keeping with the château. Breakfast was outstanding. We loved our stay here. So lovely to be able to stay in a historic château. The grounds were very pretty. Our rooms were large and very comfortable and quiet. The place looks fantastic from the outside. The inside though wasn't a strong 10. The apartment we lived in looked like a modernized version of a servants' room back in the days it was a true castle. Cool, but not perfect.
