Also the entire Lay-out is smart because the bedrooms are located well away from the living rooms so everyone gets a good night sleep. At night it is absolutely quiet due to the beautiful location in a forest. The outdoor hot tub is just brillant to recover from a hike in the nearby Loch Lomund National Park or to gaze at some stars at night. If you enjoy baking pizza the oven gives you the chance to a achieve restaurant quality results. The hosts Claire and Alick are super friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have absolutely everything you need during your stay. They gave us a super warm welcome, provided us with tons of firewood at no extra cost and helped us with any question we had. Our group would 100% recommend this place and also thinks it is crazy good value for the price!

Set in secluded 20-acre grounds, the Roman Camp Country House Hotel is set on the banks of River Teith in scenic Callander Village. It offers luxurious rooms, private fishing pools and an award-winning restaurant, 15 miles from Stirling. The typical and traditional Scottish interiors makes the stay a whole experience. It is a very old hotel amazingly kept and really well taken care of. The gardens are amazing, so everyone who visits Roman camp should go for a walk to see the gardens and the riverside. Dinner in the Bistro was absolutely awesome, we had a three course dinner and the starter, main dish and dessert were spectacular. I would completely recommend everyone to stay here.
