The surroundings were stunning. Right in the heart of the countryside perfect for a quiet getaway Facilities exceeded expectations. The wood fired hot tub was lovely. The hut was decorated with extra detail to the finishing touches. Walks around the local area were stunning.

Great place to visit beautiful surrounding countryside. Close to all local amenities but in the country side, so peaceful and surrounded by birds and wildlife. Our cottage was clean, warm with a well equipped kitchen. Ann and Graeme lived next door and made themselves available should we have any question, helped with suggestions of where to eat in the area and thank you Ann for your loaf of homemade bread. Yummie.

Located in the countryside but easy to get to several restaurants and to Barnard Castle, Nice and quiet. Room and ensuite good with scones and jam left for us and also homemade biscuits. Breakfast , great choice, freshly cooked. Downstairs lounge for guests to use, gardens to sit out in (weather permitting)

So quiet and peaceful, with a great pub over the road.

Superb B&B just outside Barnard Castle in the quiet of the countryside. We booked to stay as we had tickets to see a show at the Whitham in Barnard Castle and it was a really easy commute back and forth from the show. Karen the host was lovely and the room was spotless with fantastic views of the farm and the countryside. The fresh scone on arrival was beautiful as was the fresh fruit and cooked breakfast the next morning. The bed was comfortable and the room had a lovely cosy feel.

Very friendly and helpful couple ,very nice accommodation which is quiet and peaceful set in a countryside setting a 10 minute drive into Hartlepool also the excellent breakfast we chose the full english which does set you up nicely for the day if you want value for money then look no further than this spot for your stay if you are in this area..
