I loved the hotel, my room, the location, and the manager, Suzanne, and her staff. The hotel was minutes away from the ferry to Gills Bay and yet so quiet and peaceful at night. I was sad to leave.

The location was incredible, the views stunning and great for bird watching from the room large floor to ceiling window over the water. Loved all the little surprise luxury features in the bathroom. The place felt like heaven after a very long journey. Will return again soon to stay for longer next time.

It is self catering which is what we prefer. Lovely & quiet with nice views over countryside. Perfectly located for walks, bike rides or car travel to the many interesting places to visit on Orkney

Quiet and peaceful, ideal. Plenty of places to eat and drink within a short walking distance. Definitely recommended.

An excellent location just outside Stromness. A spacious cottage for 2 people, with parking right outside the front door. Very quiet and peaceful.
