Amazing countryside , peace and quiet , comfortable beds .

Me and my partner stayed here over the weekend. Location was super. I was told the lake was man made which made it even more impressive. There were 3 other people staying and it was still quiet. The host was lovely and the dog that came to visit was so cute!. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting to go here. It's not a far distance and it's peaceful and good value for money. There were also condiments. Milk, Bread and cereal, water and diet coke which was a lovely touch.

The host Isabelle was very welcoming . She waited for our arrival and sat with us once we arrived to explain everything and recommended some options for us for our stay. The location is really idyllic, it is very peaceful and tranquil and the house is warm, cosy and homely. Great facilities including everything needed to cook, towels, firewood etc. Really excellent place overall and ideal for a quiet getaway - it was exactly what we were looking for.

Absolutely everything! Views were to die for and the whole place was fitted out to a high standard. Plentiful supply of tea, coffee and cereal on arrival. Lovely crockery too. We loved the floral mugs! The beds were comfy and the shower was wonderful. It was very peaceful, even the cows were quiet! 😁 We will definitely be back!

John made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed our stay at Ardgort House. Our room was clean and comfortable and had the luxury of a bath rather than a shower. It is in a great location for both seeing the countryside and places to visit. We would happily stay there again.

Very comfy room, very quiet house so great for a peaceful stay. We are vegan and they were very accommodating with ensuring we were looked after at breakfast, which we appreciated.

The property was exceptionally large, very quiet location. Well equipped. Very peaceful

Staff so welcoming and friendly, grounds were absolutely beautiful, breakfast was delicious the following morning, cosy, so peaceful and quiet. We will definitely visit again if we are ever in the area. Even received a box of chocolates when checking out, so thoughtful of our host! Thanks again.
