The quiet and remote countryside location, view of the mountains, close to the fjord and beach. The property and staff are wonderful. I would stay here again the next time I visit the Westfjords.

A short message was left by owner as we arrived in the dark. Wow, the jacuzzi was already heated up, we enjoyed that during a freezing cold night. The kitchen can be used for own prep of meals. It's definitely a home away from home. Breakfast tasty display. Shower/ toilets downstairs, upstairs room with magnificent views. Peaceful quiet

Quiet and peaceful location, cabin is warm and comfortable, well equipped kitchen with coffee maker, host is friendly. Highly recommended.

We only stayed one night, but we loved it. Although it's a small cottage, there is a spacious living room for dining and relaxing which is perfect for luggage. The kitchen offered everything we needed to fix our meals. The bathroom super clean with extra towels and hair dryer. The location is very quiet and peaceful, with so much greens and huge grass fields with sheep. I highly recommend for couples.

Warm rooms with plenty of space for four and private bathroom too. Dinner and breakfast from the host was lovely and a real treat, eating with the other guests. Quiet and peaceful location that makes for a good aurora spot if the clouds keep away. Great location for husafell and reykholt.

The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great. Very quiet and peaceful location. Reasonably close to shopping facilities and fuel station. Views were lovely from our window.

The hotel is in a very peaceful location with a pool, natural tub and hiking trails nearby. Everything was clean and neat. The breakfast was a pretty typical hotel breakfast. Not a lot of options for vegans but I also didn't ask if they had any alternatives.

The guesthouse is located in the countryside and it was quiet and peaceful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was well decorated and was just right for two people. Dinner and breakfast were very good and the highlight for us was the hot tub in the woods with a mountain view.

The location was excellent for what we wanted. Peaceful setting and great for bird watching, geology, hiking, and only short journey (40 mins) to Olafsvik for whale watching. Good location for touring Snaefellsnes peninsular. Room was comfortable. Limited food menu in restaurant and at time of visit only really other place to eat.
