Le Coffret is a rural house dating back to 1779. It is located in Jayer area of Saint Marcel, 2 km from the Dora Baltea River and 12 km from Aosta. All rooms offer free Wi-Fi, and garage parking is free. Breakfast was delicious. We had breakfast outside in the garden. Everything was well presented and well made.

We stayed here on our hike around Aosta on the AV1 and AV2 and the staff were very friendly. The room was excellent and the breakfast perfect. We also had wonderful dinner in the their sun room with fantastic views all round.

Mauro is a very accommodating host, he was nice and very welcoming. The apartment is great, very nicely equipped and the whirlpool is a real highlight after a long hike.

La Mason de Franco was one of four favorite hotels in the Aosta valley of Italy. It was conveniently situated just steps from the center of town so that we could access the small number of cafes, bars and shops - and had lovely views of the surrounding mountains from all of the windows and porches. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean with comfortable beds and bedding. But the real highlight of this hotel was Laura, the host and owner of the property. We ate dinner and breakfast at her restaurant downstairs - and she pulled out all the stops to serve lovely meals for us and even accommodated an early breakfast for us. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The nearest bus stop is 500 metres away for buses to Cervinia, 18 km north. The Cervinia area is ideal for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. Saint-Vincent and its famous casino are just 15 minutes' drive away. amazing value for money, homemade attentive breakfast, incredible hospitality and kindness from the owners, hearty home cooked dinners, large communal areas in the apartment, gorgeous roaring fire every morning

Hotel Hermitage is located at 2050 metres above sea level, at the foot of the Matterhorn, and provides a free shuttle to the ski lifts.

All rooms of the Hermitage here have a private balcony, with panoramic views of the southern slope of Mount Cervino. This hotel is true, old world, alpine luxury. The location is exquisite - in the beautiful valley at the base of the Matterhorn (Cervino); ask for a room with THAT view. They accommodate pets. But it all starts with the staff - all with excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly. Go to their bar and sample cocktails at the huge lobby fireplace or outside. Special note of the barman, who new his stuff. The SPA is excellent and very clean. The rooms are great, with all amenities.

Some rooms at the Château Royal include views of Mont Blanc or the Gran Paradiso Mountains. I recommend it. The whole was really good. Next to the lift from the car park which was ideal because I had 3 backpacks full of gear. Close to nice restaurants, beautiful views by the windows, very cute and well equiped apartment, jacuzzi and sauna in the basement (is a shame I had delayed flights and couldn’t enjoy it) everything super clean. Excellent staff 10/10 very communicative, attentive, helpful and friendly.
