Chathu was a very warm and friendly host and we felt so welcome and safe at Plantation. It’s conveniently located at Midigama just a short 5-7 minute drive to most of the cafes and nightlife at Ahangama. The room was really clean and comfortable. We were easily able to rent a scooter from the property and Chathu recommended us some routes to explore. We will definitely be back next time we are in Midigama.

We had an excellent stay in a very authentic and cozy home for the last part of our holidays in Sri Lanka. Guy and Mary were very welcoming hosts and served us delicious breakfast with homemade curd, granola and bread. Home made dinner was also available but we unfortunately could not join due to our schedule. The pool is beautifully located in the middle of the forest and was the best pool we had during our trip. The house is located in a very quiet and serene place but with a scooter/tuk tuk, everything can be reached quickly. Overall, we had a great stay at Sri Mathie and would definitely recommend to anyone!

It is a great accommodation. The owner is a nice young guy who does everything to make your stay great. The location is good it is a short walk from the fort and the railway station. You can walk everywhere in a few minutes. The room is big and very clean. There is also a balcony with a nice view of the garden. Breakfast in the morning was great. Thank you for your hospitality. It was great at your place!

Especially good if you’re staying long lengths of time as it feels very homely and has a kitchen. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and make you feel at home. The rooftop view is amazing especially for sunrise. Rooms were clean. They also cooked a lovely dinner as a gift to one of their long term guests and we were all invited to join it was super nice.
