It truly felt like a natural and green heaven, offering a serene and calming atmosphere. Staying here felt like a form of meditation, enhancing the relaxation and rejuvenation of our vacation. Sarath and his family are the most welcoming and amiable hosts we had on our journey in Sri Lanka. The lodging is on top of a hill and inside a plantation so you are all surrounded by beautiful nature. As part of the plantation Sarath and his family are growing their own coffee and spices from which Sarath's wife cooked a most delicious breakfast and dinner. We enjoyed our stay at Plantation Retreat very much and will never forget the welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We can very much recommend a stay here.

Located within 10 km from the foothills of Knuckles Mountain Range, the hotel is also 2 km to Panwila Bus Stand. Kandy Railway Station and the popular Temple Of The Tooth relics are both 25 km away. The view is breathtaking. Staff was very polite and helpful. Raju, the caretaker, cooked sone delicious meals for us. Try hiking to the mini worlds end at the top of hatale for one of the best view points around.

This place is magical, it wowed us from the moment we saw it. The location is stunning, right in the middle of the mountain jungle with fascinating flora and fauna. The old colonial style house is soaked in history. Morphti was an amazing host and Mohan is the most amazing cook, we had some exceptional feasts of great Sri Lankan food. We will definitely go back!

We loved the environment and the aesthetics of the vila. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
