So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

The staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the kitchen staff did not speak English so well, but the breakfast had plenty on offer but the coffee from the machine was not hot. Options for alternative milk options was on the breakfast bar but no option to have it hot. Cooked eggs are on offer. It is very plain. Pastries are good, variety of breads, meats, cheese and fruit.

The pool area is beautiful and amazing to relax in and the rooms are spacious with a balcony with stunning views. Food was delicious. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in the Duoro Valley

A terrace is available on site and hiking can be enjoyed within close proximity of the accommodation. The property was amazing. It was clean and comfortable. The staff were awesome. We had a private wine tasting accompanied by good conversation. Breakfast was outstanding.

But I suppose that Carlos, the manager with his warm smile, patient and friendly way, was what really stood out.

We were very well welcomed to the property by the owner and had some homemade products waiting for us. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Totally recommend this place to stay.

Casa de Campo das Sécias is 47 km from Foz Côa and 170 km from Porto International Airport. Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
