Highly recommend staying at this location.. Very homely property and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the chickens and ducks at the outdoor barbeque area...

The guidebook was also full of great suggestions!

Country houses Lomba D'Água, is located in the parish of Candelária, south coast of the island of S. Miguel, 14 km from the city of Ponta Delgada. It consists of 4 independent units classified by the Regional Government of the Azores as units for Rural Tourism, in the form of country houses, maintaining the traditional architecture of this area of the island of s. Miguel, but with the comfort of modern housing. The name of each house corresponds to the ancestors who lived there a few decades ago and the decoration dates back to those times, showing some utensils used by them and a little of the history of that time. All units are properly equipped, each one properly identified. Very good follow up from the host. Car rental via them also worked really well. The house is stunning and it was really a treat to stay there. The breakfast and fruit provided on the first day was very nice. There's a little supermarket within walking distance.

All include private verandas with barbecue facilities. The houses of Tradicampo are located in different locations. This place is amazing! The fridge was stocked with produce for breakfast and fresh bread delivered daily. The pool area is very nice although we did not get to use it because the weather was bad. We also liked the big bed. It's truly a lovely place to stay, we definitely recommend it. Of all the places we stayed in the Azores, this one was the cheapest but most generous in terms of service!

Pico do Refúgio - Casas de Campo combines a natural setting with history, art, and sea views. It offers traditional-style houses with a contemporary design and an outdoor swimming pool in São Miguel countryside, Azores. This was a great start of our vacation. Apart from the buildings being special because of their history, the location & view from the hill was spectacular. Owner Bernard was so friendly to tell us about the history of the building and land, which turned out to be in his family for the last 400 years. It's located in a beautiful rural garden. My partner loves classic & vintage design, and thorough the guesthouses were hints of that. So that was also a big bonus. Would definitely book here again if we ever visit São Miguel again.

With inner courtyard views, this accommodation provides a patio. Guests can make use of the picnic area or the year-round outdoor pool, or enjoy views of the pool and garden. . The property is situated in the middle of San Antonio with amazing, stunning views on the coast and the ocean. The location is just perfect for trekkings around the most beautiful sceneries of the islands and also reaching Ponta delgada. We stayed with our family and we had a wonderful 3-night stay, with Ms Marilia helping with everything and Mr. Nelson guiding us towards the most amazing culinary experiences. We love the story of the property where the family of 12 lived doing farming and is now a really beautiful get-away property, offering the best of the island. There are 4 separate units, infinity pool, kitchenette for amazing breakfast and parking for the guests that is a must at the island. I personally loved the coffee available since I have coffee all the time and Ms. Marilia making home made eggs & fresh bread. There was also local wine available at the house but we did not try it for my husband bought so many (he is a somelie) - but definetely a really nice gesture. Our kids enjoyed the pool even if it was a bit cold outsid3, but the had much fun. We also enjoyed the views and tranquility at the pool every evening, along with local wine 😊 Super friendly hosts, we highly recommend - we will definetely return 😊
