The room was lovely. Nice view. Would have loved a window that was bigger and ran the length of the room, to take in the gorgeous view of the trees outside. Shower was amazing! Nice to have some toiletries. We enjoyed the pool and sauna and the tennis court. Breakfast was fantastic. Loved the cocktails at the bar! Dinner was nice, though definitely an expensive option in town.

The atmosphere was amazing and the host, Phil, was a lovely presence. Very clean and the manor has a lovely interior design. The paintings on the wall made the place have a gallery vibe.

We stayed in the king spa room which had not only a dual corner spa but a shower with massage jets and an extra king bed wider than I’d ever seen before. The bed was very comfortable, the heating excellent, and the minibar was well stocked and very affordable. The owners take care with every aspect from hand designed furniture to a serving breakfast in a COVID-safe manner. Warm croissants were a delight.

The rooms were spacious and clean with a modern look. We were also pleasantly surprised by the massage shower. The owner was very friendly and was happy to chat. And, finally, the overall design of the building was stylish and offered a communal atmosphere.

Beautiful fresh unit, very spacious, bright yet cosy and welcoming. Plenty of onsite parking. Fantastic central location. Right by the river (which sounded lovely at night-time) yet wonderfully quiet. Lovely garden surrounds including two pretty free-ranging chickens. Short walk to all town facilities, parkland, shops and pub!Nice little deck for drinks or a cuppa with a great view of the garden. Huge modern bathroom with fantastic shower, lovely open design and sparklingly clean. A really delightful place to stay. Can definitely recommend.
