These hotels offer something a little different in the way of design and usually sit in a trendy, urban part of town. More intimate than your average hotel, they offer high standards with a homely vibe.
I was an IHG snob but Booking.com put me over to Western Budget, so we tried it. Very impressive rooms, spacious, big fridge and dining area. Fireplace. Quiet. Very happy with my stay. Breakfast was as expected, some carbs; cereals, toast, bagel, juices, coffee, fruits and yogurt, enough to be satisfied and go.
I liked the suite open design! I liked the fireplace! I liked that the front desk clerk was helpful and proficient! I liked the reasonable cost of my stay!
Breakfast was great, staff was super friendly. Pool was great for the kids, Always had towels. Everything was clean. Very family friendly. I liked that they had family room options with bunk bed in a seperate room. Price was budget friendly.
It has a good location , is in between everything. The price for a night is reasonable and affordable for emergency if you don't live around red deer . The staff is very welcoming , attentive and nice.
Well designed space upon entering. The staff I had in my experience were very much service oriented and authentic in that. The room was well appointed and sparkling clean. Linens and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was above the standard and had a very nice selection.
Looked to be a nice walking path near the hotel for anyone with pets or children to go run off a little energy.
Never checked out pool area and I think I saw a laundry area for guests which would be a nice touch.
Breakfast minimal. No bread for toast only bagels. Hotel was awkward to get to from the south as it was on the west side of QE #2 highway. Construction made the roads inaccessible. The room itself was lovely, bed great.
