From your suite you can watch sloths, toucans, monkeys and iguanas. Each suite in Hotel Plaza Yara has a seating area with sofa and cable TV, and the kitchenette has a microwave.

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful and we were needy because we'd not been to Costa Rica before and wanted suggestions. Fresh fruit and made to order hot breakfast every day always delicious. And Yara, the little Frenchie, was the high point for our 4 year old granddaughter. Howler monkeys greeted us several mornings. Location perfect for both Quepos and Manuel Antonio within a few short minutes. Room was large, spotless and beds very comfortable. THANKYOU to everyone at Playa Yara for all you did to make our trip wonerful!

Super welcoming and helpful staff, Dennis was absolutely amazing. The area is fantastic, very close to the park and the beaches and the most amazing view. The suite itself was spectacular. It had everything we needed and more. Fully equipped kitchen, awesome shower (even for my very tall husband), a comfortable bed, and the most amazing balcony. Ask Dennis for restaurant recommendations, he really knows what he's talking about. We were really sad to leave... Oh, and there's no need to bring a car. The bus gets you everywhere you need to go and runs regularly

The location is stunning, nestled on a hillside with superb views of the sea, and the landscape is like a painting. It's truly pleasant that it's not a massive hotel but a smaller, family-friendly place. Animals such as toucans, monkeys, and sloths are within arm's reach, and it's superbly located near the beaches. In my opinion, it's among the top three places we've visited so far.

From the pool area and the terrace you look directly into the jungle. Sometimes some little white face monkeys step by. The breakfast was delicious. Banana pancakes are highly recommended.
