This hotel is located about 2 km from Quepos, 5 minutes’ drive from Manuel Antonio National Park. Its spacious suites have a kitchenette and jungle views, and there is an outdoor pool.
From your suite you can watch sloths, toucans, monkeys and iguanas. Each suite in Hotel Plaza Yara has a seating area with sofa and cable TV, and the kitchenette has a microwave.

We loved this hotel! I went with my 19 year old daughter and we were both impressed by the size of our room, as well as the lush rain forest surrounding the property topped off with a viewing deck. The staff were great, one gentleman even gave us a tour of the hotel as we were checking in. The pools are good and have a nice view of the greenery. They also have a wonderful gallery attached to the hotel- beautiful hand painted ceramic pieces there (we picked up a lizard to hang outside). They also have the sweetest dog (Yara) who stays in the lobby all day. My daughter was obsessed with the dog and she was very friendly and greeted everyone! We also saw a few white-faced monkeys outside the window of the art gallery which was a pleasant surprise. I would recommend to stay here!

The setting is just beautiful, surrounded by lush rainforest and all its animal inhabitants. Plus there's a great view through to the sea, making for stunning sunsets. We were lucky to stay in the Howler Hangout and were over the (mango) moon about all the critters we saw (and had visit us on our balcony), including monkeys, toucans and even a sloth. The owner's dog Lucky is also lovely to have around the place! We miss it there already!!
