Excellent hotel - we liked it so much that we even changed our trip plans to stay there longer (4 nights instead of 2). The beach is fantastic - both for swimming and surfing (at least at a beginner level), hotel beach chairs are very comfy, so perfect place for reading and enjoying coctails. The hotel garden is very nice - there are monkeys and iguanas there, plenty of birds

The Wyndham Tamarindo is a fantastic hotel! We had a wonderful experience! The infinity pool was incredible and the view from there and our oceanfront room ~ wow! The restaurant food was great and so was the service! Everyone treated us very nicely. The shuttle down into town was an extra bonus and saved us from the steep hills!

The place was PACKED, but this gem of a hotel was all calmness and quietness. Very beautifully designed but not imposing in any way. Location is great, close enough to get around and to the beach, but just far enough that it’s very calm I enjoyed the swimming pool and swimming pool area. Bed is very comfortable, design and decoration in the room are lovely. I could borrow a yoga mat and practice on the balcony or in the room easily. You can even borrow surf boards and bike for free. Breakfast was delightful! Plan a bit ahead as it does take some time but it’s definitely worth it.
