Located in the centre of Bayeux, the Domaine de Bayeux is set in an 18th century house featuring a tree-lined park. There are guest rooms in the main building and a further 11 air-conditioned designer bedrooms available in the extension of the orchard, each with private terrace or balcony.

This is a wonderful place to stay...my only regret is that we had only booked one night. The Domaine de Bayeux is a wonderful 18th century building which has been stunningly renovated to reflect a remarkably clean, crisp and modern interior. We stayed in the attic room which was really impressive. The bathroom featured a large stand alone tub, a rain shower and a huge double sink counter top. I will venture a guess that it was almost as large as the bedroom. The location is great with ample on-site parking and the staff are warm and inviting. Thank you.

Set in a 2000m² park, this 19th-century house is just 200 metres from the Bayeux Tapestry. You can admire the views of the garden from your elegant room or visit Omaha Beach, 6 km away.

A desk, an en suite bathroom and a wardrobe are provided in the rooms at Clos de Bellefontaine. You will also have access to tea and coffee making facilities in the communal lounge.

Carole, the owner at Clos de Bellefontine, is an exceptional host. She made us feel so welcome. The room was beautifully presented, clean and contained everything we needed. The breakfast was also beautiful with home made tarts, preserves and plenty of french pastry and fruit. Carole's knowledge of the local area was very helpful and this was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Thank you Carole

Domaine de Bayeux is a very beautiful building and it was wonderful to see it so well cared for without any compromise on comfort and cleanliness. Our room - one the more affordable ones on the top floor - was comfortable and well-designed, with a big bathroom. Breakfast was in a lovely bright airy room and it was hard to do justice to all the good things on offer. We enjoyed sitting out on the terrasse with its view over the garden. All the staff were friendly and welcoming.

Beautifully renovated upstairs apartment with designer vibes. Original winding wooden stairs, exposed beams, and uneven floors. Full of character! Everything spotlessly clean. Walking distance to pickup point for tours to Normandy beaches and Mont St. Michel. Lots of food options nearby. Pharmacy literally downstairs. Would definitely return if I were to visit the region again!

The quietness, the rural location and the beautiful garden. Just a few minutes away from Bayeux, but close enough to drive for a meal or a quick shopping. Just the right distance from the ferry port. The owner's friendly cat... The attention to details in our room... which was a chalet, Finnish design, looked like a house from fairy tales. We loved the very stylish bathroom. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was so filling and delicious! We are hoping to return.
