This is a wonderful place to stay...my only regret is that we had only booked one night. The Domaine de Bayeux is a wonderful 18th century building which has been stunningly renovated to reflect a remarkably clean, crisp and modern interior. We stayed in the attic room which was really impressive. The bathroom featured a large stand alone tub, a rain shower and a huge double sink counter top. I will venture a guess that it was almost as large as the bedroom. The location is great with ample on-site parking and the staff are warm and inviting. Thank you.

Carole, the owner at Clos de Bellefontine, is an exceptional host. She made us feel so welcome. The room was beautifully presented, clean and contained everything we needed. The breakfast was also beautiful with home made tarts, preserves and plenty of french pastry and fruit. Carole's knowledge of the local area was very helpful and this was a thoroughly enjoyable place to stay. Thank you Carole

To put it in a few words, this was our best experience in a trip where we visited 5 countries and 8 locations. Having previously been to Paris, arriving at Aggarthe was like finding an Oasis in the middle of the desert. Diane was, in a few words, the best hostess we've met in years of traveling. Always with a smile and eager to help, she made sure that we knew exactly all the things we could do around Bayeux and even made sure we could rent a car during the low season. Breakfast felt like a buffet, even though we were one of two families staying, and her Security Detail (i.e. Gus and the cats) raised the quality by 100 points for dog lovers away from home. The room had everything you could hope for or need and the bed was as comfortable as it gets. We were also provided with free parking space meters away from the location (Great for people who rent cars and don't feel comfortable leaving them on the street)

Very central location. Staff warm and cheerful. helped us with restaurant bookings long before we arrives as we came over Bastille Day and the place was "buzzing" The owner runs the Boutique hotel and the attention to detail shows!
