The hotel exceeded all expectations. It was beautifully situated in the middle of nature, fully equipped with all possible facilities and with an excellent restaurant. The staff were discreet and efficient but very friendly. There was a restrained yet intimate atmosphere.

We had two rooms (with a separate entrance), one very spacious, and a huge bathroom. The rooms are very cozy, with beautiful old furniture. The breakfast is lovely - the owners bake their own bread and make their own jams, and there were several kinds of cheese and yogurts besides.

The pool and the grounds were so lovely to spend time in we didn’t want to go anywhere else and spent much of our time swimming and reading by the pool! We reserved the bar area one evening, and the hosts gave us a barbecue so we could have a relaxed evening with our family who were staying nearby. Both Sieta and Tom were so welcoming and wanted to make us feel at home.

The outdoor kitchen has everything you need, giving the option of self catering around the pool or walking into the local town to eat. A lovely breakfast is provided in very relaxed surroundings. The host and her daughter are there to recommend , assist or just enjoy a wee chat . It is the perfect location to enjoy the Dordogne valley and we got to go cycling, canoeing and just ramble around the beautiful countryside.
