The house is in a lovely village with 3 restaurants within walking distance. The host was very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with bread, croissants, fruit, yoghurt and pancakes. We didn't need to eat for the rest of the day.😁

At no point did I request a quiet room, so get your own system working properly! There is an overarching sense of calm at this hotel. Things happen when they should. It is so relaxing. The service was impeccable, the room well appointed, stylishly decorated and with a comfortable bed and a fantastic view of the grounds. The food was simply stunning! You have to try it!

Our one night stay enabled us to enjoy a birthday celebration dinner at a nearby restaurant. A clean and pleasant hotel with friendly staff, good breakfast and well-designed rooms and reception area. Large free car park almost empty - few guests possibly since the motorway was not operating owing to a local "manifestation".

Everything was spotless and beautifully arranged - the host has a real eye for interior design. The continental breakfast was delightfully set out and plenty to set us up for the day's travelling.

The hosts Danie & Jean-Yves were very welcoming & on arrival we had cold drinks & cannelles in the garden. The room was very comfortable with a great ensuite & the breakfast couldn’t be faulted. They helped me with my french & even gave me a lift to the station when I left. I can’t recommend this place enough & if I ever return to Saintes I would book La Maison des Thermes in a heartbeat.
