This hotel is designed in an original style. Each room is different. I had a lovely single room - Roi des ballons - on the 4th floor. I wished to have this room and the guy at the reception (Alexy, I think) kindly asigned it to me. I was really grateful, thank you so much! I absolutely loved the room. It is simple but clean and quite spacious (I was suprised) and had everything I needed for a short stay in Strasbourg. Wifi also worked very well. The hotel is located close to the railway station. Not a nicest area, as in any city, but nothing dramatic. I came by/left with the bus from the Frankfurt airport and the bus stop was just 3 minutes walk from the hotel, which was great. There is a rather cheap bakery right opposite the hotel, it is convenient for breakfast. Breakfast is also offered at the hotel but it is 12 euro (I think) and it makes sense for people eating more than I do in the morning. There are many other bakeries, restaurants and shops in the streets around, as well as in the railway station and, of course, in the centre of Strasbourg. The centre can be easily reached on foot within cca 15 minutes, there is also good connection by buses/trams. Overall, I was very happy with hotel Graffalgar and I will certainly try to book a room there again during my next trip to Strasbourg.

Loved the upgraded room..so much space. Loved everything about the room and the location of the hotel. The view of the cathedral was exquisite. The staff were the best and very helpful. Thank you so much for a great 2 night stay. I only wish it could have been for a few days more. And the lemon/mint water at the reception was the perfect touch.
