The room was very nice, clean and warm. I did not use any of the other facilities as I was visiting family, where I had all my meals. The car park was very busy as there was a function on one of the nights.

I also like the fact that the controls are at one end and the shower at the other. It means you don't get a cold wet arm when you first turn it on. All showers should be designed this way.

The swimming pool and sauna are a huge bonus as we treat it like a spa weekend. The design and comfort of the environment make it feel like a top end hotel and not a budget chain. Breakfast is good value.

The hotel (and bar itself) was tastefully decorated with Corby's history integrated into the design. The lady who checked us in was polite and informative. We had been a little concerned about noise issues with it being above the pub but as soon as we shut the windows, we couldn't hear a thing! An excellent stay - we'd definitely stay again next time we find ourselves in Corby!
