Check-in was over in a matter of minutes and we were able to get into our room, unpack, have a drink (and a meal if we had wanted one) at the bar, and a nice comfy bed ensured we got a good night's sleep. A freshly cooked delicious full English in the morning and we continued the long journey to Cornwall refreshed and replenished!

Conveniently located just 2 miles from the heart of Exeter, The Devon Hotel offers free Wi-Fi and free public parking. Featuring a lively bar and restaurant, it is only 20 minutes' drive from Exmouth and the South Devon coast.

Very well appointed, clean and comfortable room. Comfortable bed with high quality linen. Extensive range of TV channels including Sky Sports was a bonus. Excellent, friendly and helpful staff, helped solve a problem with redirecting a parcel for me with kindness and efficiency. Didn't eat breakfast, so cannot comment on the restaurant. Overall the hotel exceeded expectations and was only a short ride into Exeter.

The boutique-style rooms at the Globe, Topsham feature comfortable Vi-Spring beds and free WiFi, as well as a flat-screen TV and en suite bathroom. A luxury 2 bedroom apartment is available for families or those who prefer more space.

The Globe is very central and nice and quiet too albeit our room faced onto a garden bar. The indoor bar was awesome and cosy with a fireplace. The staff were very attentive. The room was, exceptionally clean and the bed was amazingly comfy and very big. Couldn't fault the service or the room. The parking was just up the road in a public parking facility but really easy to access from the hotel. All in all a good experience and we would definitely go back.
