My daughter and I had a wonderful stay . Sheila and Peter were excellent hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Hundalee house is absolutely stunning and steeped in so much history . Wee lexi and Milo (dogs) were just the cutest and so welcoming. We had a lovely peaceful stay in beautiful surroundings looked after by a lovely couple. Can’t wait to come back again next year .
I loved everything about my stay here. Beautiful home and the views were stunning. Large, clean, comfortable room. Very tasty and filling breakfast. The host was absolutely lovely, friendly, warm and welcoming. Looking forward to our next stay.
Lovely old house in a good location, stunning views and gardens all around. Good base for visiting the Scottish Borders.
The host, Sheila was friendly and welcoming and breakfasts were great. The room was spacious and clean.
A friendly place that the owners have obviously invested loys of money in. The decor is excellent, the rooms are well thought out with a very comfortable mattress and fittings, downstairs in the bar area is lovely, great service and cocktails as well as excellent restaurant food, having stayed in other local places I would put the Capon Tree is the category of small boutique type hotel.
The hotel is ideally situated in Jedburgh, near to Mary Queen of Scots House and the Jedburgh Castle, free on street parking is available.
Lovely location in Jedburgh. Room great, easy access, well designed and furnished, very comfortable. Lovely shower. We ate in the restaurant too and what a treat, best meal we've had in a very long time, truly exceptional in all regards and great value for money.
