When it is time to hit the hay enjoy a restful night’s sleep in one of our ten individually styled bedrooms. Our bedrooms consist of cosy snugs, luxury rooms, a luxury suite and a family room with modern interior styling that is sympathetic to our Georgian building. Amenities in our bedrooms include flat screen TVs, tea and coffee facilities, superfast WIFI and Bramley products.

Gorgeous location in a quiet Suffolk Village. The building was beautiful and ideally decorated. We didn't use the restaurant but the menu looked good (we were meeting friends elsewhere). Bar was well stocked and staff very helpful. We upgraded and had a beautiful and large room. Bathroom was a little less decadent than the rest of the hotel but clean enough. We used our own toiletries but good to see environmental impact was thought about. TV was odd and difficult to use - usual channels didn't seem available and if we tried Netflix or any of the other apps, none of them worked, so we turned it off and just had music playing on our phones. Comfy bed, and tea/coffee available, so all good. We loved it. *worth mentioning that had we paid full price I would have felt it a little expensive, but I had a Booking.com credit and so actually it felt like a bargain.

Sleek design is coupled with period charm at the Lavenham Great House in rural Suffolk. This 5-star hotel and restaurant provides stylish rooms with free Wi-Fi and a complimentary decanter of sherry.

Each room boasts chic furnishings alongside traditional features such as exposed beams. Some rooms feature four-poster beds, and all come with a minibar, espresso machine and plasma TV.

The location was perfect in the market square. The room was large with 2 beds & super cosy. Lovely bathroom & extra special touches like fruit sherry chilled water & good notes on everything. Sorry we could only stay one night!

Gorgeous stand-alone unit, furnished & decorated with flair. Spacious with everything we needed. Outlook onto a lovely peaceful cottage garden with outdoor seating. Perfect for us as we were visiting family in nearby Acton only a 5 minute drive away. Free parking and a short walk down a lane. Joanna was an excellent host - was very helpful and communicated well. Highly recommend.

The cottage was beautifully decorated, immaculately clean and cosy. The bed was very comfortable and the linen and towels had a real luxury feel. The cottage had everything we needed for a weekend away and bread, butter, marmalades and milk were provided which was a nice added bonus. The bathroom was amazing! Big freestanding bath and large shower. Long Melford is a lovely quaint town with several pubs, shops and cafes and a perfect starting point to explore Sussex.

The Cart Lodge is an exceptionally clean and well presented property. A beautiful and thoughtfully designed conversion with 2 distinct areas that worked extremely well for us with 2 couples. The hosts were lovely to us.

This is a really lovely place in a gorgeous location. The breakfast was one of the best we’ve ever had. Dinner was delicious, far higher level than ‘gastro pub’ Perfect for a winter stay as the open fire in the bar made it very cosy. Lovely and stylish decor.

A lovely family run hotel where ALL staff were friendly, helpful & gave the service of the "old" days where nothing is too much trouble for the customer. Dinner & breakfast were tasty & well prepared. Our room was easy to access as requested, warm, clean & comfortable. If you want not 5 star accommodation but perfect affordable stay, we highly recommend the welcome here. Lovely village even on a chilly winter day.
