Lovely host, superb spot: quiet street and yet less than 5 minutes walk (steep footpath) to city center. Nice view over the harbour and a private parking place. Although 'only' a continental breakfast was supplied, it was exceptionally extensive and plentiful! On top of the usual toast/jam/cereals there were lots of fresh raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, four types of sliced meat and slices of cheese, different pastries and bars-to-go, etc. When we had to leave very early, the host prepared the evening before a basket so we could have breakfast anyway.

What for a charming and stylish decorated room - and it has been topped by the view over Oban and it's shore (if there is no fog). We loved this house and the spirit of Ian and his very kind wife. The ladies at the reception were very welcoming, informative and proactive in their approach and made us feel at home. The property is well maintained, very clean and comfortable. The decadence of the decor gave us the feel that someone with passion owned the property. The view from the front is absolutely beautiful. The overall experience was very good.

We had a sea view room and it was so peaceful and gorgeous. But even if you don't have a sea view room, you are just a right outside the promenade and can easily spend hours looking out at the sea and watching the ferries go by. The interior design makes the house very cozy. The breakfast was very good and you have plenty of choices.
