We love the Salty Monk this is the second time we have stayed it’s very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very good and nothing is too much trouble. Beautiful garden and lots of parking.

A beautiful hotel, well-situated for a seaside holiday, with ocean views, the town and beach an easy walk (and a number of exceptional hikes available leaving from the front door), and a delicious breakfast spread every morning as well as cooked-to-order dishes all included in what we felt was a very reasonable price. Friendly, helpful and professional staff. We obviously enjoyed our 6-day stay very much. Thank you

Absolutely perfect location on seafront next to the shops too. Funky trendy beachy vibe and really lovely place. The breakfast was out of this world. Gluten free, vegan and vegetarian all catered specially for! Spinach and halloumi just two of the inclusions in a sumptuous breakfast. Gluten free muesli offered too. Suitcase taken up and brought down by strong guys. Such a smashing place to stay. Go to the Donkey Sanctuary a couple of miles away too!

Close to the beach, shops, pubs, restaurants and other attractions. The hotel itself is lovely. My room was big, comfortable, nicely stylish and super clean. The restaurant is quite big with a large outside area. The food is excellent, and because of it, it is a popular place so I would definitely recommend booking a table in advance. The staff is amicable and super helpful. The whole experience was excellent.
