Very kind and welcoming hosts. The room was clean, very pretty and cozy, breakfast was really good as well. The location was perfect if you visit Scotland by car. Not far from the B&B is a restaurant called birds & bees, had the best time there, it's like a 3 min walk. Def. would book again :)

The hotel far exceeded our expectations. Having read the (mostly negative) reviews on this website, it was a really pleasant surprise to discover our large and renovated room with a view towards the mountains over Stirling in a superb listed building. The best property we stayed in during our trip in Scotland and remarkably cheap for a 4* hotel.

Great location. Parking on premises which is a bonus if driving. Breakfast was good as was the dinner I had in their restaurant. The restaurant staff were very kind.

Staff is very friendly, spacious parking and a short walk to the city center and sights. We didn't have breakfast (was a 1 night stopover for us) because we had to get on the road again, so I cannot share an opinion about that.

Dining room was old style, stylishly decorated, dark wood etc with lovely interesting wall decor. Our room as beautiful, absolutely gorgeous and massive, the bathroom lovely too and a lovely hot bath at night. No complaints at all. Breakfast was grand too, cereals etc and cooked buffet. Staff were lovely too.
