The location is fabulous and the terrace, with its mature weeping willows by the Thames, very pretty. The hotel was renovated about a year ago and so still has a bit of a new feeling combined with a charming old building. Our room had a separate toilet and shower and was spacious. Although it looked into the busy road, it was quiet. Clearly attention had been given to a lot of design details. There were good breakfast options.

It was a beautiful setting in the country yet easy to get to, and it really exceeded my expectations.A lot of thought and care has gone into the small details - lovely bedding, spotlessly clean, great shower, enough tea and coffee etc I was really impressed and would definitely go again next time I’m back in Witney for work. The breakfast was also fab and the crockery and set up was all high quality. All credit to those running this place as it really feels high end and very classy yet not fussy, and great value for money.

    - Really friendly staff - Great food - we had dinner in the pub as well as breakfast and it was all delicious! Lots of gluten-free options/catering for dietary requirements as well which was hugely appreciated. The breakfast especially was so good considering it was included in the room rate. - The room was spotless, comfortable and nicely designed - we slept really well - The noise was well controlled, obviously pubs are a lively environment but we weren’t disturbed. - All in all fantastic value for money and a lovely stay!
