The addition of a pool was great and the ocean views from our room were spectacular. The room was modern and well-maintained. Breakfast on the pool terrace was generous and in a lovely setting. The wonderful staff, always smiling & incredibly obliging. Absolutely delicious food & a great selection of wine. We cannot fault Alero, it’s an outstanding hotel!

Very nice interior design and attention to detail in the rooms. I loved the fact that breakfast was a la caste, not buffet. More sustainable and great selection of breakfast dishes.

It’s so beautiful and old worldly with the Skyrian chairs and tapestry but has a well equipped kitchen and modern spacious bathroom. It’s perfect for a solo traveller or a couple. There’s lots of chat between the locals during the day but it’s silent during siesta and at night. There’s a small table and chairs outside and it’s lovely to sit there of and evening

We booked a deluxe suite with plunge pool, and had a large bedroom with mini-kitchen, well appointed shower-room and even a mini-gym. Ample parking was available within the hotel grounds. Breakfast was cooked to order, and included offerings such as Eggs Benedict, Eggs with Skyrian cheese, Greek yogurt with honey, traditional breads, juices and coffees. Supper was equally impressive, with our choice of lamb on mousseline potatoes being perfectly cooked.MJMeYoung couple
