Lovran
Only 50 metres from the beach and the 12-km long seaside promenade, Villa Eugenia is located in the centre of the mediaeval Lovran, on the Opatija Riviera.
Built in 1910 in the Secessionist style, the villa consists of accommodation units with air conditioning, internet connection, a TV, minibar and a safe. A private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries is also provided in each unit. Some room types feature a balcony and sea view.

The hotel is nice, with a suitable location near the center of Lovren and close to Opatija. Both places offer nice seaside and street walks, restaurants and shops, with Lovren being a bit more authentic. The hotel is renovated with good facilities. The staff is very friendly and nice, ready to crack a joke or just chat. The mansard room was unexpectedly great, with blinds stretching over a large portion of the room and making it beautifully bright and sky open - great design. The view was stunning, covering both the entire Kvarner bay and the interior. The breakfast was excellent, offering one of the best choices of fruits, cheeses, breads, pastries, drinks, etc. with lots of vegetarian options.

The staff is welcoming and polite! The breakfast is great, made of fresh ingredients, very tasty! Although the hotel is on the Main Street it was not noisy. The spa is also nice, with affordable surcharge. Parking is secure, also a small surcharge.

The location is uphill ( as we counted on) , and 10 mins walk from the center also a very relaxing area with a beautiful view from the window. There is also a big terrace with shadow where we ate our breakfast every morning. AC was working well, cooled down the room when it needed. The interior design is a bit from the "old age" - not an issue at all - for the price this is what we counted on. And also it was clean :)AdriennYoung couple
