Castel di Sangro is a quaint town with fantastic shopping, restaurants and bars. The breakfast at Garni il Contale is not to be missed - the pastries are superb. Our room was lovely and although we did not use it the existence of a Turkish bath in the room was amazing. We were also impressed by the existence of a room safe. Our breakfast was an absolute delight with a great deal of choice. Additionally Pietro provided us with a list of recommended places to eat in the area. We have no hesitation in recommending Garni il Concale.

Everything was extremely neat and tidy and the room had a lovely Mountain View, which we liked very much. The church next door was worth a visit. The hotel interior was nicely designed. it even had a little museum. The rooms were ( we rented 3) simple, really clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fine and Covid protocol was followed. The manager was very friendly, spoke excellent English. He also helped with everything , even planning our route and interesting stops to Puglia. We were so happy to meet him. We wished we had longer time there
