Lovely property at the edge of town, with simple minimal design feeling like a home away from home. The owners were super welcoming and helpful, provide drives to and from the station and the dinner was just divine, one of the best meals we had in Japan! A very special wine tasting experience too - highly recommended overall!

A beautifully designed and very stylish, modern hotel that nevertheless fits very well into its surrounding environment in the old town of Takayama. Lovely rooms, quiet and dark at night, all very clean and well maintained. Excellent location within walking distance to station and all attractions, such as river, market, and old town shops and restaurants, and right next door to a Family Mart. Appreciated the free evening drink. Also great to have a coin laundry on site.

Great location in a lovely town. Exterior and interior looks very classy yet modern (wooden design). Very friendly staff, free drinks (incl. sake tasting) and cute little spa area. Would definitely recommend spending at least two nights here. Lots to do in town (great food, sake breweries, old folk villages, etc.).

Excellent location. Great staff and really lovely breakfast. Room design was very nice with nice bathroom, very unusual for Japanese hotels. Boutique style. I guess as it was off season it was really excellent value for money.
