The walk to there is not bad at all, it's lovely to get away from the touristy bits of central Flåm and not have the view on to the big cruise ships. You're surrounded by nature there, and the walk to the nearest water wall is only 10min.

If you would like to be surrounded by waterfalls, mountains, nature, clear starry nights and absolute peace- this is the place to be. The photographs do not do this place justice. We absolutely loved our stay here. The cabin is well designed, cosy and warm and stylish. We didn’t see or hear anyone throughout our stay, we truly felt we were in the heart of nature. The mum looking after and running the cabins is warm and welcoming and very lovely. We did not want to leave and are already planning our next stay.

Apartments upstairs do not have access to a private outside area but there are picnic tables outside for general use. Only one supermarket in Flam so go early as shelves nearly empty by the time we got there in the evening. Flam definitely worth a visit as stunning scenery.
