This is a real castle and the only one in NZ at that. The views from the turret are amazing, even from the rooms they are exceptionally nice. The rooms were well heated in the middle of winter. This property is fabulous, Unfortunately we were only there for 1 night, so we didn't get to use the kitchen or lounge much. Excellent location in St Clair with a pub around the corner and walk to the beach. Beautiful old building that has been renovated superbly. Would definitely stay again.
