This is a real castle and the only one in NZ at that. The views from the turret are amazing, even from the rooms they are exceptionally nice. The rooms were well heated in the middle of winter. The possibility of dinner in the castle is really a very good way to have a pleasant social experience, with excellent food in a dignified setting.

lovely room, great location, very comfortable bed and the whole property is well designed - simply gorgeous. The cafe has the best coffee ever, yes - even better than at home in Melbourne! we ate breakfast there each morning because the food was excellent and we loved the ambiance. 10/10 and we will definitely be staying here next time we visit Dunedin.
