Stayed at the boulcott lodge before a concert in Lower Hutt. The room was lovely, staff friendly and helpful. Love how the rooms are set up and there were a few of our group staying there and we all got neighbouring rooms. Such a nice place.

Stunning view, easy to access the apartment via internal garage or from private balcony . Three bedrooms . Fully equiped . Comfortable and peaceful. Lovely indoor outdoor flow with outside picnic table . Via the internal access it’s all on one level . So handy to supermarkets and cafes in Petone . A lovely public play area is a one minute walk away from the apartment . Owner was so lovely to deal with . Messaging via txts worked really well .

This place is incredible. My favourite spot was in the greenhouse while the sun was out - so peaceful, warm and beautifully styled. The house is so cosy, with lovely bush views. Everything you could need is there. The decor is so stylish and really calming, with possibly the most beautiful bathroom I've ever used and I loved the electronic blinds too. A fabulous stay, and I can't wait to go back.

Location was super close to Boulcott Hospital (where I was having surgery) so convenient for my Husband to go to and from. Also walking distance to supermarkets and town. Was a lovely comfy bed with everything you needed. To be honest I would stay here again even if we were not needing close access to the hospital it was just lovely.

It was well designed, even a couch. None of it felt crammed. The room was very quiet hardly hearing anything from outside and I need the quiet to relax and rest so would notice this. The internet was fast, great for working and play. Water pressure was excellent and wife commented on the lotions (shower) being very good quality. Parking was good too, as I was out very late it still had a park for me, only 1 but that's all I needed :) The closeness to the main street was great too. Just a block away onto Cuba street.

We were looking for a family friendly motel and Fernhill met that requirement. It doesn't pretend to be a 5 star luxury resort yet it is definitely a huge improvement on budget locations. We particularly loved the large room size.
