The boss couple are very nice and helped us a lot. We chose to stay here for 2 nights on our round trip from Machu Picchu. The hotel has a nice little garden, the room is very clean, the bed is big and comfortable, and the towels are of good quality. Very close to the train station but very quiet. The breakfast was good, the coffee and bread were delicious. The price is also very good, it is the best hotel around!

Lovely thick blankets on the beds for colder nights. Helpful staff sold us bottled water and advised where to catch local "collectivos" for day trips. Facilities were modest but absolutely fine, especially given the very reasonable price of accommodation, and we were entirely happy with our stay :)

Close to main plaza, rail station, markets and local attractions. We were well looked after by all the staff and in particular Herve and Mary on the front desk (apologies if spelling names incorrectly). Breakfast was included in the cost and consisted of fresh fruits, yoghurt and cereal, eggs, toast or breads with cold meat and cheeses. On the day we had an early start to visit Machu Picchu we were provided with ‘breakfast to go’.
