    The room and the hotel it self had a real nice design. The market square was amazing, just as the restaurant in the building.

    Great location in Väven, seamless access to city library, bistro, bar and river. Mostly (see cons) well-designed and modern room with large window, good curtain, comfy bed and bathtub. Self check-in/out works well. Breakfast in Väven courtyard was great.

    We were welcomed by Kristoffer at reception who became a bff to our 4y daughter, and gave us good suggestions of where to go in Umeå. We found enough plant-based options for the breakfast (vegan family). Very well located in Umeå. The design of the rooms is cool, and the beds comfortable. Family friendly place.

    The interior feels somewhat gothic. The dark brown color of the walls, the ornamental carpet with octopus-design, the doors with dramatic photographs on metallic plates, the metal curtains - this is not the pinnacle of good taste, but I liked it better than the anxious nondescript standard design you mostly see in hotels.
