All newly renovated and fresh rooms at Hotel Winn have flat-screen TVs, a seating area and a work desk. We arrived late on our way back home. Apparently, a lot of people were traveling through Umeå that evening, and the front desk was very busy at midnight. Alexander handled the situation very professionally, though. Due to no available rooms of the ones that we had booked, we received an upgrade, which was especially nice after a long day of traveling with a small child. We got a corner room with an 180° view of the city towards the river, really lovely. The room was spacious, and the shower in the bathroom had a good size. The bed was comfortable. We all got a good night sleep. Breakfast was lovely in the modern restaurant right downstairs.
