Breakfast was amazing as were the staff. Dinner was delicious and the staff were very attentive. The beach is beautiful - it was just a shame that there were a lot of jellyfish being washed up so swimming was not an inviting option. Clearly net a criticism of the hotel.

This hotel is a real gem nestled in the jungle on a hillside. The garden is magnificent and overflowing with superb tropical plants. The bungalows are well positioned, with lovely balconies and very comfortable bedding. Breakfast is varied: fresh fruit, eggs prepared your way, a different Thai dish every day, something for every taste! The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, we were pampered throughout our stay. We had a couple of delicious lunches and fruits shakes on the beach and ordered a large seafood platter for a dinner. We were super spoiled! The hotel is quiet and located only 20-minute walk from the center of Khao Lak (easy walk or the hotel will arrange a cab for you quickly). We also went to Lam Ru National Park. A walk through the jungle that led to a pretty beach where we were all alone. We had several treatments at the spa (such as Lovers Package) and had a wonderful relaxation time. This was our second stay in a deluxe bedroom and it was fabulous yet again. Staff are welcoming and ever friendly. The lower pool is our fav, with the swim up bar. Very relaxing with comfy sun beds and plenty of umbrellas. The Leaf is only just a short stroll from the action of khaolak, but is beautifully quiet. It's amazing value for money and we will hopefully return.

Everything was perfect. The room and property as a whole were so beautiful, the breakfast buffet on the beach was delicious and plentiful and the staff were so accomodating - even driving me to the pharmacy when I came down with the flu.

Great sense of hospitality from the reception, super clean room, large and comfortable bed, lots of water in the shower. The breakfast was nice too. Beautiful swimming pool. It's located at a walking distance from the town center. The reception organized the minivan for me to go to my next destination. The hotel feels exclusive, but still very friendly.

Such a relaxing place to stay, even though the hotel was full it was still possible to find yourself alone in one of the many lovely swimming pools. Staff were always friendly and polite. Perfect location wise too if you’re after a very relaxed and laid back pace. There are plenty of good local village restaurants less than 5 minutes walk away. A real bonus for us was the lovely beach and the little beach shack restaurants dotted along it - perfect for sunset drinks and barefoot dining.

I had a basic cabin, which was small, charming, and lovely with a stunning sea view. A powerful fan was all it needed. No mosquitos!! The private beach is gorgeous. As I write, I'm sitting on fine white sand under the shade of a massive tree 10m away from the sea, and there's nobody else here! You can eat here or 10 mins along the public beach there's more restaurants with a more touristy vibe.

The setting of the resort complex as a whole, was a piece of art. The rooms, beds, and bathroom were large, all well maintained and cleaned on a daily basis. There was a strong water flow in the shower, (something not to take for granted). The buffet breakfast was delicious, and had a vast selection. I guess it was the best we had in Thailand. The hotel offers various free activities, like folding towels into animal shapes.
