Staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was relatively simple from the outside, but the interior was very original and quite fantastic. The lounge was great, with many things to do for the entire family (table tennis table, outside grill for marshmallows, pool table etc.). The rooms were well equipped, and the photos matched the experience. The view of of the pier and Alcatraz was a big bonus.

The concierge, Jeff, was wonderful. Efficient, courteous, professional and has a good sense of humor as well. The Lodge is lovely, the grounds, and although we didn't use the bar or restaurant, enjoyed the whole area - very pretty. Also, surprised with the wine bar in the afternoon. Thank you very much
