Das Himberg is located south of Vienna, 6 km from exit 7 of the S1 motorway. It is easily reachable from Vienna Airport and from the A2 and A4 motorways. Free private parking is available, and the centre of Vienna is reachable by public transport in 30 minutes. After 10 days of travel through 5 different cities, this was the best night stay of the whole trip. The front desk staff when out of her way to make arrangements for us to get a taxi to the airport and to start breakfast a bit earlier for us before we had to leave. I am so thankful that she did this because the breakfast was incredible!

Surrounded by vineyards, this 4-star hotel is just a 5-minute drive from Göttweig Abbey and 10 minutes from the centre of Krems. The spacious, individually furnished rooms all have air conditioning and overlook the abbey and the surrounding vineyards. The room is large and comfortable. The most amazing feature is its restaurant. The meal we had there is simply the best during our three-week trips around four countries. You also need to try the wine from their own vineyard. People from Vienna come here often just for a meal. Excellent!

Located in a renovated 19th-century building in the centre of Krems, this spacious studio offers free Wi-Fi, a kitchen, and a balcony overlooking the garden. It is right next to a cultural exhibition space. Outstanding breakfast, great funky decor, easy stroll to restaurants, beer gardens, but quiet and peaceful.

Located in the pedestrian zone in the Old Town of Melk,at the foot of Melk Abbey, the historic Rathauskeller features a restaurant serving traditional Austrian cuisine. It offers free WiFi in all areas subject to availability. Fantastic accommodation right at the heart of the town centre. Large parking space for those driving in. The apartment was huge and had multiple facilities. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Lots of restaurants along the street if you want to venture out.

A traditional Viennese-style café in a 16th-century building in the pedestrian zone in the centre of Melk, Madar Café Restaurant zum Fürsten is only 500 metres from Melk Abbey. Free high-speed WiFi and free private parking are available. Everything about this hotel was amazing! Freshly roasted coffee every week, breakfast included, spectacular, picturesque location and the owner was very kind and helpful. If you’re debating booking this- don’t! It’s a beautiful little town and this is the perfect place to stay!

Directly connected to the Römertherme Spa via a private covered pathway, Das Gutenbrunn Thermen & Sporthotel is a protected historic building that was once a residence of Beethoven. Free WiFi is available on site. Not my first stay, everything is perfect

NH Vienna Airport Conference Center is conveniently located directly across from the arrivals hall at Vienna International Airport, making it an ideal choice for late arrivals or early departures. Free WiFi is available. Perfect location for travellers departing on early flights from Vienna Airport. We checked-in for flights - luggage and boarding passes - in the evening and in the morning we just had coffee at the reception and we left hotel directly to security at the airport - 200-300 meters walk. So we woke up 1,5 hrs before our flight :-)

Ideally situated in the heart of the city of Krems, at the entrance to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Wachau, the family-run Hotel Unter den Linden is just a few minutes’ walk away from many of the local attractions. This place has a great location, close to the city center. The staff was welcoming and helpful. And the room was large and well-equipped. Recommended
