Situated in a historic building right at the heart of Melnik, Penzion U Zámku is only 30 metres away from Melnik Castle. The property has been awarded The Best Guesthouse of 2017 Award. Free WiFi and free on-site parking are available, as well as free parking on the square nearby. The room was lovely. It was larger than we expected -- two rooms (and one had some parts of a ceiling mural from Medieval times). Both rooms had heaters, which were both needed and welcome. The beds were super comfy. A very cozy apartment for a really good price. The staff was friendly, spoke English (though we had enough Czech to communicate with them as well). The location was just off the central square, so fairly convenient to everything in the center.

Free Wi-Fi is provided in the entire building and free private parking is possible on site. At first worried how my dogs will react to horses and JR, but it all turned out fantastic. Easy to find, spacious room with AC, what was working great and cooled room quickly, bathroom on half floor in the some room was interesting solution, car parked outside courtyard infront of our room, room had a key not key card (love when they have keys), confortable bed, lovely horses 💜, delicious meals in the restaurant and I will definitely recomend it! Lovely personal who showd where our room is, where I could walk dogs for longer distance. Loved the accent what restoran young lady has ☺️ You'd visit again, lovely place!
