All we heard were the birds chirping whereas in Banos proper, you hear the city. The gardens are beautiful & filled with fruit trees and a gentle breeze. The breakfast was incredible and the attention excellent.

Breakfast was also very delicious, and the view was to die for, definitely recommend the Eden room with the river view.

The owners were incredibly friendly, spoke great English, and the food was really fresh and tasty. Wonderful art was everywhere! I loved the hammock in our room (and a fireplace was ther too but we didn't use it). The in-massage I received at their in-house spa was phenomenal. The place is outside of Banos, in a tiny village. It is an easy walk to the gorgeous Diablo waterfall and the village doesn't feel as touristy as Banos itself. There is a river running outside of the hotel, which was lovely to fall asleep to.

The surroundings are beautiful! Taxis into town take 10 minutes and cost 3 USD per way. We were happy to stay outside of town in a much more peaceful setting. The property is very unique in its design and albeit quite basic is really charming. Hosts were very friendly and helpful and their two dogs are adorable!

Stunning view, extremely clean, most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in my travels this year and best hot, powerful shower I’ve had too, really good value laundry, Incredible value place to stay all round considering it’s more like an upmarket hotel than hostel. Lovely staff too.

We loved absolutely everything about this place, it was quiet, clean, our room was also very spacious, the view was stunning and the owner and his family was so welcoming and lovely! . The town center is just 5 mins walk! Would definitely come back !

Absolutely stunning location and exceptionally well-designed rooms. Super satisfying if you're in to unusual architecture. High ceilings and wood in unusual shapes. Floor to ceiling windows all round the rooms so it feels like you are immersed in the forest. Really nice relaxing sounds from the waterfall. The host was great at setting us up with taxis, activities and even looked after our bags for several hours after checkout.
