With a restaurant, bar and lounge, it also offers free Wi-Fi and room service. it was very cozy. close to everything. the breakfast was absolutely amazing(specially the eggs Benedict)!

The B&B boasts a restaurant and a bar, as well as a 24-hour front desk and room service. My partner and I stay here for 7 nights, and I cannot fault it at all, clean room, lovely breakfast, we also ate in the restaurant the food was very tasty and not that pricey, all the staff were lovely and extremely helpful and made us feel very welcome, as did the locals, I’ve never visited a place where the people are so friendly. There is a real sense of community in this place, and it reminded me of my hometown. We both slept like babies every night, the bed was really comfortable This place is a little gem, right in the middle of the places we wanted to explore, Beamish 8 mins away, Whitley Bay 30 mins drive, Holy Island 1hr 30 mins, Newcastle 38 mins on the bus, the bus stop is directly outside the pub, catch the number 21 bus price was £5.10 return. We spent nearly every night in the pub, and you could see how well it was run, so big shout out the manager and all the staff. They were on the ball, tables cleared and wiped down straight away, they worked as a team like clockwork. We thoroughly enjoy are stay here and it was lovely to meet everyone.

The hotel boasts 71 luxurious and uniquely designed bedrooms – elegant drapes, four poster beds, feature baths, rooms with stunning views and complimentary Wi-Fi internet. I loved it all. I’m from NZ so no Castles and I couldn’t do UK and not stay in one right!

The comfortable bedrooms all free WiFi and tea/coffee making facilities. Delightful hotel, very friendly staff and fantastic location in Durham. Excellent evening meal and lovely breakfast in the morning. We recommend and would definitely stay again.

This historical town house is less than a mile from Darlington town centre. It has free limited parking and free internet.

The stylish and modern Maxine’s Restaurant and Bar offers fresh, seasonal British food, great wines and single malt whiskies. The quality of the accommodation was fantastic. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was well worth it. The grounds outside the hotel were beautiful. This is the most exceptional place I have stayed in Darington.

Farnley Tower Guesthouse is less than a 10 minutes’ walk from historic sites and river walks. There are many cafe, boutiques, galleries and museums nearby. Breakfast was great. Good food lots of choice. Excellent service.

The casual Lobby Bar has light meals, coffees and snacks. Nice larger hotel in Durham. Very clean and friendly staff.
