Breakfast includes locally sourced produce and sausages and black pudding from an award-winning butcher. Local pubs and restaurants are less than a 10-minute drive away. Noreen and Jean-Paul are exceptionally lovely people. We were so happy to have met them! We shared a few hours together socializing after visits to the area. They will both ensure that your every need is well looked after and that you are completely happy with your stay. Noreen is a wonderful cook and every breakfast was absolutely delicious (by far the best we have EVER had at any B&B, rivals the best restaurants!). This country home is beautifully appointed. Lots of natural light and open spaces. The bedrooms are spacious and bright and have the best king size beds - better than any hotel or B&B. Very high quality linens and duvets. The breakfast room is also open and airy and feature's Noreen's beautiful paintings. Bathrooms are spotless with soft and comfy towels and washcloths. The surrounding area is so beautiful. Green everywhere. We always had suggestions on where to go for sightseeing, dinner, tours, etc. Noreen and J-P will help you with all of your questions as they are very experienced travellers themselves. I have travelled extensively for work for the last 30 years of my life. I have stayed in hotels and accommodations world wide. This place has a very special place in my heart. These wonderful people have made their home a place of warmth, comfort, hospitality, conversation, wonderful meals and laughter. We were tearing up when we had to leave and say our good-byes... Yes, this place will do that to you. Just stay here. You will always remember your time with Noreen and J-P at The Vandees.

We really enjoyed our stay. JJ was extremely friendly and helpful and recommended a couple of really nice restaurants - with Amici the star of the show. Cul-Erg is very well situated in beautiful Portstewart, on the beautiful Antrim Coast. This has to be one of the most stunning coastlines in the world. Portstewart is close to so many scenic and historical sites, including the Giants Causeway, a World Heritage site, Dunluce Castle, Ballintoy, Carrick a Rede and its famous rope bridge, the Dark Hedges and delightful local towns and villages such as Ballycastle and Glenarm (to mention just a couple). The scenery along the coast is absolutely stunning, so a mecca for photographers.

The warm welcome on arrival and throughout the stay from all the staff was lovely. However, the interior design of the hotel is exceptional and we loved all the attention to detail and sustainability of it. We didn’t want to leave! The breakfast the next day was really good too.
Beautifully renovated - Spotless - Interior design on point - Comfy beds - Lovely touches - Very high quality feel - Lovely staff - Cracking breakfast - 10/10
Hotel itself was lovely, interior design was beautiful. Staff friendly, food good and live music great extra bonus. Swimming pool & spa lovely.
Its clean, the place was lovely, and I like the interior design of the property
Beautifully designed.. lovely staff would go above and beyond .. great facilities.. gorgeous food and the evening entertainment was great as well.. I came here for a spa getaway with my daughter and really left relaxed
The interior design of the lobby was gorgeous, the live music whilst checking in gave a good atms op here to the hotel. Staff were super friendly and helping with any questions we had overall great experience .
Its rich historical background-being the old headquarters of the Titanic shipping company and how welcome guests were to browse around the whole hotel enjoying its history! The stylish classy design of the hotel to honour its shipping history.
Lovely location in front of sea and beach, and only 5mins walk from main street. The room had a very cosy interior design, complete with snacks and drinks. I enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I was early arriving and met the landlord at the property which was nice (cos I hate those impersonal remote connections where you collect a key from a lockbox etc). The room (1) was absolutely marvellous! Newly refurbished, with a full range kitchen! double bed and shower-bathroom with designer, DKNY, towels, what more do u want! Lovely views to the back over the west of the city with St. Eugene’s Cathedral, see pic. very centrally located, just out the front door turn left then right and you’re in front of the Guildhall!
