First time I have used a b&b and they have definitely set the bar very high. Amazing breakfast, beautiful view , lovely room and a fantastic host .

It was charming, the hosts were warm and welcoming, and our room was lovely. It looks like an older Irish building but the inside is finished in modern, sleek materials. A wonderful sitting room for gathering with others was available. Breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Our top Ireland stay in three weeks!

Located at the entrance of Youghal Harbour, Avonmore House B&B is set in a Georgian house, on the grounds of a former Franciscan Abbey. It is just off a 5-mile sandy beach and less than 3 minutes’ walk from the city centre. Mary and John were extremely helpful in so many ways! John is an amazing chef and Mary went out of her way to accommodate our needs! would highly recommend this lovely couple’s amazing place!

Many of the rooms boast superb views of the Atlantic. The service was excellent!! The food too. Clean room and free parking. I would love to go back again.

The house features its own stunning landscaped gardens, surrounding the property. Beautiful property, big spacious room, great shower. Fan provided was much appreciated. Really nice meal at the restaurant and breakfast was great. Would definitely stay again.

We loved the bath products and room scents. The carpet is made of natural jute or sisal which keeps the house feeling fresh. No old building damp odors that are sometimes a problem in Ireland.
