All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Everything was perfect. Japanese style bedroom, very spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Even though, you could not see the famous Tori gate from the bedroom, the view was still amazing and so relaxing to wake up to. Breakfast was served for 500 yen upon reservation and was nice to have. Definitely recommend staying here.

The property offers easy access to multiple shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed that everything was walkable and restaurants were close by. Stores were accessible and the staff was very kind, from the front office to the maids cleaning the hotel. I had enjoyed my stay and would recommend to all my friends and family. The walk to the atomic bomb and Hiroshima castle was an added bonus to experience and immerse myself in Japan history and culture .

Luggage storage is available at its Welcome Counter at the station. The property itself was amazing! Very clean, very grand, made to feel very welcome. There are some shops on the water front that fit the vibe and taxis waiting outside to commute into the city centre.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Beautiful place, with comfortable rooms. We had a wonderful view over to Hiroshima. The meals were both exquisite and the onsen was wonderful, with yukata all provided. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
