The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. Each comes with a flat-screen TV and an electric kettle with green tea bags. All rooms have a private toilet, and some have shared bathroom facilities. Everything was perfect. Japanese style bedroom, very spacious and comfortable with a sea view. Even though, you could not see the famous Tori gate from the bedroom, the view was still amazing and so relaxing to wake up to. Breakfast was served for 500 yen upon reservation and was nice to have. Definitely recommend staying here.

Reopened in April 2014 after renovations, Miyajima Morinoyado offers comfortable guest rooms and a spacious public bath. It is a 1-minute walk to Miyajima Aquarium and a 15-minute to Itsukushima Shrine. Beautiful place, with comfortable rooms. We had a wonderful view over to Hiroshima. The meals were both exquisite and the onsen was wonderful, with yukata all provided. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Certain rooms include an en suite bathroom. Toiletries and slippers are provided for in the private and shared bathroom. Wonderful food and hospitality. It was raining and we were cold and wet. They were able to accommodate an early check in that was very helpful.
